Second full day in NY. Spent it with the gorgeous Jane Simmons! Subway to SoHo. Walked through Chinatown, Little Italy, the Spanish quarter and walked the length of the High mile ( I think thats it!) New Yorkers know how to reclaim space for public use and art. A disused freight rail line above the city is now a boardwalk and gives you another perspective on life in NY! Jane was admired by all, especially in the new hat & jewellery I made her buy in the Artisan markets in Soho. Spent time in the drama bookshop, sorry credit card, then on to see Hedwig & the Angry Itch! Second viewing of this Cabaret style show for me. Amazing performances and Broadway magic with the set. But think I liked the more intimate space at the Clarendon in Katoomba with Iota in the lead role. But amazing none the less! Lots of walking so now very tired! Big workshop day tomorrow. Cant wait! Look out in pics for Bird girl in the rocking hat! Damn girl!
