Second half about to get underway at the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, and unsurprisingly its 0-0 between Cruz Azul and Western Sydney Wanderers in atrocious weather conditions in their FIFA Club World Cup quarter final match. Despite plenty of surface water on a pitch that was dubious at best before the rain, both teams have been able to play some semblance of a football match, and it has been the Asian champions that have had the best chances of the match so far, with a goal disallowed as well as a point blank save from El Azul keeper Jose Corona from a Matt Spiranovic header that probably should have been scored. There is a sense that if could be a case of when, not if, this match will be abandoned due to the constant rain as it looks like the water just seems to be collecting on the surface rather than draining away, which calls into question about player safety.
