Second-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska reached the semi-finals of the BNP Paribas Open after a hard- fought win against Jelena Jankovic. Radwanska had not dropped a set en route to the last eight – with the Pole having already seen off Heather Watson, Annika Beck and Alize Cornet in Indian Wells. And she looked on course for another routine win as she won the opening set against the former world No 1 from Serbia. Jankovic, though, had other ideas as she levelled the match – only for Radwanska to finally prevail 7-5 2-6 6-4. Radwanska will now take on Simona Halep in the last four after the 22-year-old Romanian breezed past qualifier Casey Dellacqua 6-2 6-2. Halep, the sixth seed, has already tasted success over Radwanska this year – with a convincing 7-5 6-2 victory en route to the Qatar title.
