Secret #391 [Year 3 Aeronautics] Im not usually inclined to making posts online, but reading some of the posts on this page recently has led me to break my silence. I have drifted in and out of many phases in my time at Imperial; And what has ALWAYS kept me going is remembering that regardless of what im going through, having a negative mindset in any respect is only self destructive. Reminding yourself of what your ultimate goals are and being realistic about your abilities, is the answer. Let me put this into some context. If youre experiencing social anxiety and continuously beat yourself up about it, that will not solve your problem. If you are introverted, or are more intelligent than you are attractive, going to a nightclub will not solve your anxiety problem. I can go on and on about this, but whatever you are going through if you spend some time thinking about ways to change your circumstances that works for YOU, then things will get better, believe me. Be the captain of your destiny, one love.
