Secret of Bliss 5 (November 10) The following morning, Jude woke up early. He took the potatoes that were on the sink, washed it, and put it on the cooking pot. He started fire. He put the pot of potatoes on it. He was already boiling the sweet potatoes, when Nana woke up. Jude woke up around 4 am, for he had a night mare about his step mother. Thinking of his past, while cooking, he remembered when he was a seven year old boy. He thought of her mom. He thought how much love she gave him. She always sings him a lullaby, before he sleep. She also read him some stories at night that made him happy. She will always wakes him up with a hug and a kiss. She gladly played with him all day. A car accident took away his mom. He cant understand it yet during that time, but he cried every night since his moms death. Yes, he continuously cried, for he missed his mom so much. After a year, his dad took home a beautiful lady. She was introduced to him, as his new mom. She can never replace her mom in his heart, so he never had tried to be close to his step mom, even how hard his step mom tried to befriend him. He tried to separate himself from her. As he was growing up, the hate he had for his step mom became greater each day. In actuality, his step mom was not really a bad person. He was just thinking that this lady stole the love of his dad away from his mom. His dad begged him to give his step mom a chance, but the hatred was so much that he cant give in to his dads request. Until one day, when his dad came in, seeing him yelling at his step mom prompted his dad to kicked him out of the house. From that day, he never had seen his dad and step mom. He doesnt even try to communicate with them. He hates them both, and dont have anything to do with them anymore. It was like a jerk feeling, when Nana hold him on his shoulder. He was awaken from a deep slumber of his mind with that touch. Nana noticed the anger in him. She asked him, Is there anything you want to tell me? Oh, no, I am ok, he replied. Dont fool me young man, if you want me to allow you to stay here, you have to tell me whats the cause of your anger,” Nana threatened. How do you know that I was angry?” He inquired. Well, have you notice the branch in your hand, it was powdered now, due to the tightness of how you squeezed it. Nana quipped. Jude looked at his hands and for sure, the branch he was holding was powdered. Nana smiled, So what is bothering you,” She asked. I missed my mom, and I hate my dad for getting another wife, not withstanding the sacrificed and love of my mom for us, when she was still alive. I dont know why he married another woman. Am I not enough for him to cherish, what we have as a family before? I hate them! I hate them! He yelled. Nana saw the energy being lost by the young man because of his anger. He was now punching the tree in front of him, while crying. Finally when he stopped. Nana got a shirt and wiped the blood on his fist. You have to get rid of that anger. Your spirit right now is in the limbo, not able to transmit love to other people because of that hatred. Never will you experience real happiness, as long as you are containing yourself with the negative energy of hatred. You want to be happy, you need to know how to forgive, not just a matter of saying it, but forgiveness that will release the spirit of God to overwhelm your being that will heal the wounds in your heart, which will bring about forgiveness.. In your meditation, you really havent reached the pinnacle of your communion with God, because of this hatred you have in your heart.” Nana explained. But, I can see a lot of things that made me feel at peace during my meditation. Is that not enough? Jude inquired. Have you felt the love of God during that time?” Nana asked. Love? What love? I know he was there during my meditation, but He was far away from me. But i thought that is how it should be. He stated. Nope, if you really want to connect with Him, He can only be a part of you for sure, if your heart is clean and you have forgiven every one, who did something bad to you. And if you hurt anybody, you have to go and asked for forgiveness, before being in accord with your God, or what you are doing is just like what a spectator do on a show, rather than being a part of the show uniting yourself with God. You are like an outsider seeing how great it is to be with God, but cant partake it. Nana explained. It is going to be very hard for me. Jude proclaimed. You want me to help you get back the spirit of love in you?”Nana asked. Yes, I want you to help me. I cant do it by myself. Jude begged. Before we do something about it, I am telling you that it wont be easy, but we can try. Nana quipped. She put a chair in front of Jude and asked him to sit on it. She went inside to get something. The young man was seated on the chair, when she came back with a rope in her hands. She tied the young man on the chair. as tight as she can. The old woman inquired, You think you can get out of that.” This is tight. but I will try. He acted, as if trying to get out from that tight rope, tied around him and the chair.”Not now! said Nana. She holds the back of the chair and pulled it towards the river. She pushed the chair with the young man on it to the deep part of the river. A big splashed was created. The young man was surprised but cannot do anything. Help, Help, I cant do this. You have to try young man. You have to pull back the spirit of love into your heart, before you will be able to free your self from it. Grasping for breath, he said, What should I do? “Pray to your God that the spirit of love could clean all the dirt of that hatred in your heart, which could kill your soul, even if you are still alive. He heard the last words of the old ,woman, before he and the chair started sinking down on the abyss of the river. While sinking down on the river, he remembered how his step mom, prepared him food, which he just pushed away that will just fall on the floor. He remembered how his step mom will put the blanket on him, while he was sleeping. He remembered how much love this lady was giving him, but he was rejecting it. His heart cried, and he was so sorry that he didnt give her the opportunity to love him. He remembered the love that his dad gave him, before, during and after the death of his mom. In a blast, he tried to yell for forgiveness, for all the things that he did towards his dad and his step mom. The face of his mom smiling appeared in his mind. She seemed like telling him that he can now obtain the spirit of love that will free him from that sure death. Little by little, he was able to free himself from the rope tied in his body. As the last straw of rope was gone, he swam up on top of the surface and gasped a breath of fresh air that his lungs was really delighted to have. After his breathing was back to normal, he swam towards the side of the river where the old lady was. He was so tired when he reached the edge, and just laid himself on the ground. As he opened his eyes, he saw the old lady smiling at him. You did very well young man. I know that you will have a very good meditation prayer later, for you have the spirit of love and the nod of your God for having released those negative energies that was actually like the rope I tied you with. You are now free to love, and be love. Are you ok now?” Nana asked. I think so, He replied. Well then, what did you learn as your next secret? Jude sat down, and stated, Hatred, anger, and unforgiveness are killing you little by little without you knowing it. It doesnt allow you to give love fully and be love. It takes away the spirit of love that your God showers you all the time, for it blocks the entry of your heart that empowers you to really be happy. While I was sinking there, I saw how this painful feeling was drawing me towards the bottom. The moment I realized the goodness of these people that I hate, it was easy for me to forgive them. May I add, in forgiving, you have to look at how you yourself sinned, and how those people whom you have hatred has goodness in their soul. You have to see goodness to all the people around you, even if now they are hurting you. Dont let the bad things they did to you lower your level to the level of people who are dying little by little. Whose body is being eaten by maggots. That is how grim it is when you take care of your hatred and anger. I saw myself on that status. The old lady was amazed on the vision that this young man had. She said, I was not mistaken when I allowed you to stay with me and learn, you are a great thinker, and only God who made the universe can be the source of your knowledge. You have climbed a higher stage in your life, that many people will never reached for they never want to forgive. Let me add something, and I want you to remember this, Only people who understand that forgiveness is not for the person who transgress you, but for you to live life in peace, often let go and let God take care of the situation. In forgiving, you are not taking away the guilt of the person. It doesnt mean that he did not do anything wrong to you. It is just a matter of finding love, when love does not exist. For the only definition of love in the bible is God. So, in times when a person hurts you. Find God and you will have the courage to forgive unconditionally. Let the cross gives you healing, as we pray the words, Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sins against us. Humble yourself, for as the bible said, Those who humble themselves will be exalted, while those who exalt themselves will be humbled. Pray unceasingly, for only with prayer, we can do the impossible, and that is to FORGIVE. That is so wonderful Nana. I never thought of that. Yes, I will always remember that. Jude assured her. If you will live knowing this secret, you will find real joy on your heart. Rest now my child for the spirits of love is with you now, who will take care of you as you go in this pilgrimage. Nana urged him. At this moment, I want you who is reading this to look inside you, and go back to search for the people whom you hurt and had hurt you. Find time to see the goodness on those people, before you felt the pain. Keep in mind that life is short and wasting your time to keep the negative energy of hatred, and anger in you will deteriorate your spirit. Never giving your forgiveness causes sickness in your soul that is transferred to your body. If you are sick now, you will know that your sickness is spiritual, when after finding forgiveness in your heart your body rejuvenates little by little. Try it as we pray. Dear Jesus, I dont know how to do it, please help me. I want to free myself from asll these negative energies of hatred and anger. I want to forgive Lord. I remember...(Say here the names of the people you wanted to forgive, and tell God that you can freely give your forgiveness to them. Now, think of all those people you hurt, and promised God that the first opportunity you met them, you will make it a point to be humble and asked their forgiveness.) Lord, I will do as I promised. I will not waste my life cuddling all these pains in my heart. Help me to heal the wounds that id proliferating in my being. Yes, Lord I am wounded, some of it healed, but the scars are still there. Remove those scars Lord and I will live a life of peace, with you in my heart. I am sorry Lord for staying in the dark for a long time. Pull me out towards your light and I will live in bliss.
