Secretary of State Joins Sandys in Congratulating Worth on Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result Laura Sandys this week in Parliament welcomed the successful result of the Worth neighbourhood planning referendum and encouraged Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Cliftonville and Sandwich to follow suit and take advantage of the additional £23 million of support that has just been made available. Laura said: “Worth is leading the way for communities producing neighbourhood plans across the country and I was delighted that the Secretary of State joined me in congratulating the residents. She is absolutely right that the additional £23 million that has been announced will help and encourage many more communities across England to start neighbourhood planning and to take control of future developments in their area.
