Secretary of State Kerry made the following important statement - TopicsExpress

Secretary of State Kerry made the following important statement while speaking in the Solomon Islands on August 13: “And Im proud to tell you today that the United States today has operating the single most extensive, most exhaustive, most comprehensive effort to find remains, return them to their loved ones so that even two generations later people can make peace. And I’m so proud that the United States of America is sending a message about the value of life and the value of those who give their life for their country. We never will forget and will do everything possible, the most exhaustive effort possible, to bring them home.” (state.gov/secretary/remarks/2014/08/230571.htm) The question my family, and the families of many other American airmen killed in India during World War II, have for Secretary Kerry is this: Does the American Governments commitment to the most exhaustive effort possible, to bring them home apply to our missing loved ones in India? The history of US efforts over the years to work with India to recover our MIAs casts serious doubt on the sincerity of that commitment.
