Section 14 of the Pennsylvania State Constitution reads: The General Assembly shall provide for the maintenance and support of a thorough and efficient system of public education to serve the needs of the commonwealth. Our lawmakers in Harrisburg are not only failing the future generations of Pennsylvanians, but are also violating the state constitution in the process. Students across this state do not have access to text books, classroom supplies and are being rejected the education they deserve. The conditions of our inner city schools are shameful, and reform needs to take place.
