Section 144 imposed around exam centres in Srinagar To ensure smooth conduct of examination of Board of School Education 10th class Annual Session and to curb the menace of copying, unfair means besides upholding the sanctity of the examination, section 144 Cr. P.C has been imposed by District Magistrate Srinagar to prohibit any assembly of five or more persons and carrying any copying material or weapon in or around the examination centres in the district, an official spokesman said. He said the order shall remain in force till the examination conducted by the Board of School Education is completed in Srinagar district. However, this order shall not apply to the security and police personnel deployed for the purpose of maintenance of law and order during the conduct of examination.
