Sections of the right-wing press are pushing an isolationist agenda which would be highly damaging for not only the economy but for our relationship with the rest of the world. The current British attitude being shown toward other countries by those on the right is pure snobbery and something we need to move away from. We are not better than anyone else and that attitude needs to be resigned to the ashes of history asap.
