See, King Midas was in it for the bread, all he saw all he thought about was the money! One day King Midas won favor with the GODS an he was granted a wish! And because all he was thinking about was the money, he wished that everything he touched turned to gold! His wish was granted! On the way home he was touching all kinda of stuff turning into gold! He was getting richer and richer! Until he went to eat a turkey leg, and it turned to gold, he could no longer eat right his diet fell off! After realizing what he had done and the mistake he made with his wish, he cried and cried. His daughter saw him crying and went to console him, she gave him a hug and his daughter turned to gold! By Chasing money and riches and money and riches only, when he finally got them King Midas had ruined his whole life! I dont know, I guess there are multiple morals, THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARENT THINGS AT ALL! And BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR BECAUSE YOU MIGHT FOOL AROUND AND GET IT! CELEBRATE YOUR LIVES, AND GIVE THANKS FOR YOUR CHILDREN! PEACE!
