See You in September, The Tempos, Pittsburgh, June 1959, Climax Records 102. The song was written in one day by Sid Wayne and Sherman Edwards on New Yorks Tin Pan Alley. Jack Gold, the owner of Paris records called The Tempos, had them fly up the next day to record the song. And in less than a week it was on the air in New York. It hit the charts in July. The Tempos themselves included former buddies Gene Schachter and Mike Lazo, and Duquesne University students Jim Drake and Tom Minito.
