See how powerful black women can be when they want to? Now why didnt these black sororities try to shut down those other shows WITH THE EXACT SAME CONTENT that reflected bad on black women as whole? VH1 simply tried follow A PROVEN FORMULA FOR SUCCESS AIMED AT THE DEMOGRAPHIC IT HAS BEEN SO SUCCESSFUL TARGETING. This is like if black men go out and actively claimed Eric Garner deserved to die (this is compared to ACTIVE ENGAGED support of RHOA, LHH etc) but all of a sudden become OUTRAGED when they found out he was a frat brother afterwards. AKA and DELTA just exposed their elitist attitude as an organization. So much for caring about the community. P.S my mother is an AKA and I have several members of my family who are deltas. I could care less. If my family was in the mafia, does that mean I should co sign senseless murder? I strongly feel that this sudden rage is SLAP in the face to black communities these organizations claim to be a positive force in. It shows they knew how these overwhelmingly African American shows are portrayals of negative stereotypes. It shows how impactful they could be if they so chose in a community plagued with issues. Just my two cents.
