Shasta County Code Violations LOCATION: Yolla Bolly Rd, Ono, CA VICTIM(S): State of California SUSPECTS(S): Albert Samuel Venegas JR 26 years old- Fresno, CA Thavone Phaysamone 38 years old- Fresno, CA SYNOPSIS: On 3/12/2014, Agents with the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Investigative Team, Shasta Interagency Narcotic Task Force, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, along with Inspectors with the Shasta County Planning Department executed a search warrant at a rural piece of property off Yolla Bolly Rd, in the area of the Trinity Alps Preserve in Western Shasta County. During the course of the investigation three large greenhouses were located along with numerous tents and outbuildings. Evidence supporting marijuana sales was located during the search. A total of 633 marijuana plants were subsequently eradicated. Two males, Albert Venegas JR and Thavone Phaysamone out of Fresno, CA were located at the grow sites and later booked into the Shasta County Jail for the above listed charges. Additionally, Venegas JR and Phaysamone were cited for extensive illegal grading along with other numerous Shasta County Code violations.
