See our latest COLLIDING WORLDS TV t.co/pel8sIeI7V PALM SPRINGS CA – December 4, 2014 - COLLIDING WORLDS, an ART DOCUMENTARY in a 30-minute format, brings its latest episodes to broadcast and YouTube, AMFM Festival Part 1 with James Edward Olmos, Murray Roth and Alexander Koffler. AMFM Festival (amfmfest), Art, Music, Film and More was held November 13 to 16, 2015 In Cathedral City California. With an emphasis on paying it forward, AmFM presented diversity in the arts. In AMFM Part 1, Colliding Worlds shares interviews with several participants, including Cathedral City Public Arts Commissioner, Jim Cox and AmFM Festival Director Stephanie Bell. In addition CW present interview with James Edward Olmos, Murray Roth and Alexander Koffler. Acclaimed actor Edward James Olmos (jamesedwardolmos) is a prominent activist for the Latino community, education and other social causes. His acting career began in 1978 with Zoot Suit that took him to Broadway. He starred in many films including Blade Runner and Stand Deliver. He has numerous television credits including that of the taciturn Captain Martin Castillo, of Miami Vice. The documentary, Dignity, directed by Alexander Koffler (kofflerpictures), explores the price of a worker’s life. Mr. Koffler focus on 2006-mine explosion in Coahuila Mexico, The mien owner left 63 men to die as the cost of the rescue was deemed too expensive. Mr. Koffler’s work Murray Roth (upperlinefilm) producer of the horror film, 1959, gives a perspective on low budget, independent film. Set in Louisiana, the film follows several teens and their journey into the unknown. Mr. Roth talks about the importance of festivals and the unique challenges facing independent film production.
