See the World… Orori Obara The world is running after your shadow, you are too chasing your ambitions; set your pace to roll with its speed; it will not wait for you. Never fight to be right, give part of the story but do not monopolize the dialogue. They may not necessarily reason with your line of thought. Do your best always even when that is not good enough; for in this, you will find contentment and complete satisfaction. Never gauge your abilities with that of other people, remember you are unique and distinct in your own way; however meagre that seems before other people. Do not rate success with your years, do what is expected of you and flow smoothly with the current of your expectations, accomplish your commission even if that will be the last thing to do. Changing natural occurrences is beyond mortality, let nature take its course and always find something productive to do in any facet. Don’t be hard on yourself, infiltrate forgiveness in your spirit and release others from the mesh of hate and dislike. Welcome any compliments given, they scrub that trait to shine even brighter. Resist the sweet drippings of worldly pleasures by shaping morals and heeding to the set principles you have for your boundaries. Remain upright and sober to settle on fair judgement; sweep away any short-lived thrill to cut back regrets and waste of precious time. You are solely responsible for your actions, divert any blame to the silly deeds and extract the earned lessons to block future recurrence. Heed to the advice of your elders, they have been there before and however unreasonable their counselling may look from your perspective, there are numerous particles of wisdom and experience earned from the extensive school of life. Beauty deceives more than any blue screen graphic, unwrap the outer coat to cast a decisive light on the inner attribute and pin your conclusion to other desired characters. Avoid hurting the feelings of those who love you even when not feeling the same. A pierced heart unleashes accumulated bitterness that corrodes the bonds of love. Be practical between your romantic gestures, it helps point out a lasting union. Never involve lust to declare love, it is degradation to this exceptional gift. Say yes when the heart trickles a drop of love but play hard to access determination. Train your eyes to be fixed on focus. Never quit until you hit the target. Worry yourself not with things that matter less. When the far distant horizon sucks the sun’s flames, take comfort out of the day’s output for giving out the best; print a smile on your face no matter the circumstances. Laughter is an expensive but a very cheap therapy, it’s always in you, dissolve in its deep springs. Remain a doyen in your profession, strive to effect a positive mark on the path of your life; let others see the world through your eyes by shifting their perception to make it a better place. Impact a lasting impression on your posterity by being a paragon to look up to. Lift the status of the oppressed and marginalised groups by advocating for their rights, they too, deserve a better life. Always remember to whisper a word to God; He has given you that precious breath, endowed you with ability, blessing you with hope; retire to bed folding this in your palms.
