See the corded pewter corset on the right-hand side of picture? It is a curvy midbust with 31” waist and was drafted (if I remember correctly) for about a 5” or 6” reduction. I made it for myself to wear when attending TORM with Foundations Revealed a few years ago and its been worn a few times since. There are a couple of small bits of wear-and-tear (as much as youd expect from any pre-loved garment), including some hastily done stitching at back where I ended up reinforcing the binding at the flat steels. Its perfectly wearable and not a soul would notice such things in ordinary circumstances, but its worth knowing. Id say this corset would be great for UK size 18. Its a dramatic piece in both curves and design, and is kind of like armour due to the metallic thread running through the silk-cotton mix fabric. Im in the process (ongoing!) of clearing out things I dont need in order to streamline the stuff I own (both personally and professionally). I just dont like having stuff kicking around if it isnt being used. So am happy to let this piece go for an absurd £120 (including shipping) should anyone want it.
