See this Animal....... After Lagos state has taken internal generated revenue away from local governments, they are now preaching for no autonomy for local governments. How come Governors have autonomy from federal? And saying it will cause chairmen to rival governors, are governors not rivalling the president, also chairmen never accomplish what they promised the citizens during their campaigns. It is known that APC use local government funds to sponsor elections, and I dont know why the funds have to go to the state account before it goes to the local governments, why not straight to where it is supposed to go to. The governor who I respect so much, allows the party to hold LGs for ransom and use the funds for other things and for other state elections. Depriving LGs from autonomy is depriving us from an elected leader that uses the same roads, water sources, security and environment the ability to make urgent decisions, that will benefit the LG, instead it goes to the state and bureaucracy wastes time and even makes the situation more grave. Fashola has never been on my street, but my chairman has, he should be given the ability to make minor improvements and make them quickly. This idiot is a law maker...........a direct voice of his constituency, who is prohibiting his constituency from directly rectifying its local issues, by opposing autonomy. He is from Ifako-Ijaye 1, and is speaking for that constituency, who is he, where is he, what mandate is he carrying........ Power your mind Power you voice POWER YOUR VOTE!
