"In Asia, the tail of the global economic crisis presents both great opportunities as well as great challenges. The Philippines, like many other countries, is faced with the question of how to ensure that the solutions and responses include the whole population. The challenge to Asia is inclusive growth. For companies committed to corporate citizenship, the answers seem clear. The way forward involves new ways of doing things: sustainable, scalable solutions. The objective of inclusive growth requires systemic solutions. Speeding the process requires innovation and working together. This is the topic of this year’s Asian Forum for Corporate Social Responsibility (AFCSR). This year’s conference theme addresses the twin themes of social equity and scalable, innovative approaches.
