Seed of purpose By: Josh Clevenger 1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because Gods seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. Today I just want to tell you that you are worth more than you see. The investment of God in you is so great, we overlook it in ourselves. You are worth more than gold to God. You are more valuable than all the money in the world to the Lord. He sees greatness in you and He does not just value the outside, but He values the things we can’t measure. The Lord has planted a seed of redemption in you. That seed is just a seed but once it takes root you will blossom in great things in your life. Just like a natural seed it must be in the right environment to grow. If you are hearing how worthless you are in this world and that you do not measure up to the people around you. The seed will stay dormant, but if you hear how much God loves you and the great investment He has put in you. The seed will begin to germinate and take root. Negativity will keep the seed dormant but hearing God’s purpose for you will cause the seed to begin to sprout roots. We must position ourselves around the reminder of the promises of God in our lives because it will active the seed of purpose deep within us. God told Abraham to look at the stars in the night sky as a reminder of His promise to Him. Every time Abraham looked at the sky he was reminded of the great promise on his life. We have the reminder of our greatness every time we look in the mirror. We are a reflection of God Himself and even in our imperfection the glory of God is seen in our lives. Today I remind you of the great investment the Lord has put inside you. You are worth so much to God that He wants you encouraged and lifted up. Every time you hear positive words about the promises of God to you it activates your seed of purpose. You are worth more than Gold and even in your pain and desperation God has a plan. See your problem through the eyes of love and you will find a way out. You are worth the price of the cross and Jesus was sent because God loved you. Receive God’s great love for you in Christ and walk in the abundance of God’s great mercies.
