Seeds of Destiny by Dr. Paul Enenche SCRIPTURE: But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the Lord, that we may inquire of the Lord by him? And one of the king of Israels servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. 2 kings 3:11 THOUGHT: Your service in a commission connects you with the oil of that commission. The official title of Elisha was – ‘the man who poured water on the hands of Elijah.’ Whose hands are you pouring water on? It determines whose mantle you can inherit. Pouring of water on the hands is a symbolism of service and sowing. How do you draw virtue from higher vessels? By heart to heart connectivity. This means that there must be genuine love and goodwill in your heart for the grace carrier. When you come to Church and sit down like an executive Christian while other people clean the Church and usher you in, and all you do is complain about where you are asked to sit without doing anything in the Church, the anointing flowing in the house will not be available to you. The other day, somebody just walked in from somewhere and told me, ‘I need a double portion of your anointing.’ You don’t have the right to even ask for a quarter portion until you serve. The anointing you serve, sow your time, energy and resources into, is the anointing you can harvest from into your life. That is why there are so many people close to many men of God and cannot connect to anything from the lives of those men of God. There is proximity but no connectivity. Remember this: your service in a commission connects you with the oil of the commission. ASSIGNMENT: Deploy yourself to the service of God in Church.
