Seeing and hearing my ICA friends being grilled left-right-centre from ignorant sections of the members of public in recent times and some attention seeking, self-proclaimed success story public figures who feel theyre too privileged to conform to authorities, I feel compelled to rejoin ICA again after my school graduation. I miss talking back to rude travelers and making them hide their tails between their legs. I miss challenging repressive authority figures who are more interested in covering their own asses at the expense of junior officers. In any form of uniformed organization, the public will always tend to pick on you and blame you for everything. But whatever the scenario, bear in mind that the uniform gives you authority, but your behaviour gives you respect. Remember the pledge, without fear or favour.
