Seeing everything from standing eye level?... Holy s***, I forgot what this was like!!! 😆💚 Im absolutely dead and in the negative spoons, but I cant remember the last time I felt this happy! ❤ My face LITERALLY hurts from smiling. 😂 Also, weirdly.... In my chair Im often gawked at like an endangered species. People (not everyone, but a lot) look down on me (no pun intended) and treat me like dirt. But on my crutches, people treated me like an equal human being! I felt like a normal 21 year old. 1 guy even thought I sprained my ankle in soccer practice (I was wearing my sweatpants and my nothing but soccer T-shirt). He wished me a quick recovery so I could be back on the field ASAP. 😄 Its dumb and wrong that our society is like this, but I cant remember the last time I felt like an equal out in public, just because of how I was treated.... It was amazing! 😄 Oh, and someone even held the door open for me (NEVER happens in my wheelchair).
