Seeing is Believing! An unforgettable Journey….. One of the amazing things we have been given as humans is the unquenchable desire to have dreams of a better life, and the ability to establish goals to live out those dreams. Think of it: We can look deep within our hearts and dream of a better situation for ourselves and our families; dream of better financial lives and better emotional or physical lives; certainly dream of better spiritual lives. But what makes this even more powerful is that we have also been given the ability to not only dream but to pursue those dreams, and not only to pursue them, but the cognitive ability to actually lay out a plan and strategies (setting goals) to achieve those dreams. Powerful! What are your dreams and goals? This isn’t what you already have or what you have done, but what you want. Have you ever really sat down and thought through your life values and decided what you really want? Have you ever taken the time to truly reflect, to listen quietly to your heart, to see what dreams live within you? Your dreams are there. Everyone has them. They may live right on the surface, or they may be buried deep from years of others telling you they were foolish, but they are there. Take your dreams and make them a reality for the rest of 2013 moving into 2014 – Only you can make the change and make it happen, not only for you but for so many others that you can touch along the way! My story: What I was, and what I am now! After major surgery I was down and unable to exercise after several year’s I gained a considerable amount of weight. After this traumatic event in my life, Advocare is bringing me back to where I use to be. My Weight topped out at a little over 307 LBS in 2012 I am now currently 181 pounds in 2013. And have held my status for over a year now. Feeling more blessed than ever! In July 2012, my dear friend Bryan came to me and said WE are going to do a 24 Day Challenge. He said he prayed for guidance and that AdvoCare was the answer. Instead of throwing products at me, we both took the journey together, since he was new to AdvoCare as well. Yes, I was highly skeptical, but when your back is against the wall, what other positive options are there. By day three of the challenge, I had energy to boot. I was no longer barely making it through the day. By day seven, I had to tighten my belt by 3 notches. I was sleeping better, I was focused, I was seeing results immediately. By the end of the 24 Day Challenge, I had dropped 31lbs! With this success so quickly, I was hooked. I set a target weight for myself, this was my goal. I had come this far already and was determined to see it through. Bryan was determined to walk this journey with me, to guide me, to support and encourage me. With his help, I stayed on different maintenance products through AdvoCare, changing slightly with how I was feeling or if I felt my weight loss was stagnant. As of July 21, 2013, I reached my target weight loss goal. I now weigh 181lbs…that’s 126lbs GONE, I have my health back, I have my life back, I have my relationship back…everything that is important to me, that I felt was taken from me with one single traumatic event, including my dignity, I have back. I cannot begin to thank Bryan for seeing the potential in me and for sharing AdvoCare with me.
