Seeing smiling Kiran Bedi ji with Amit Shah in todays newspapers was quite demoralising as another icon of anti-corruption activists has failed the nation. She was a leading light of India Against Corruption which was opposed to Cong. as well as BJP calling them two sides of the same coin. Nagnath aur Saanpnath! What got changed? Are we any closer to getting the much demanded Jan Lokpal or recovering black money or curbing crony capitalism or police reforms for women security or statehood for Delhi? The only change which is definitely dazzling for non-political persons has been rise of BJP as the ruling party and emergence of Modi-Shah team as the rulers of central government. It seems that Kiran ji got exhausted with decline of the appeal of Anna led IAC. It has led her to move from quest from alternative politics to political alternative. It is sad that a good person has opted for not such a good company.
