Seeing the many groups we have formed for different areas brings me back to the idea of gypsy closets in the heavily traveled areas. The sticking point is how to maintain and manage them. When I left Phoenix I had to leave behind a brand new recliner, and I now have stuff in storage in Flagstaff. Any ideas would help us bring this idea in to play. My premise was for a modest fee that would help pay for storage newbies in the area could access and use whatever was in there. And nurses leaving the area could place items in there for others. Everyone with access could help maintain it, as far as neatness. Maybe former travelers that have settled in the area would keep the combination to share. It would be an honor system and nothing in there that you need back. Thoughts/ideas?
