Seeing the rain come down , pounding up the dust and running - TopicsExpress

Seeing the rain come down , pounding up the dust and running alongside the road reminds me of my transient friends . a cat may not like to get wet joe, but if it were to fall into the river , it will swim to survive. Not everyone has a place to get in from out of the rain either. Hide against a tree and it eventually will drip down on you. Carry an umbrella in the rain and wind and itll go all topsy turvy. An umbrella without the fabric will take an eye out of you or someone you run into as you try running from the raindrops. I know a guy who had back spasms for a week trying to run from the rain. Take it in stride. Sometimes we hope for rain, weeks on end..then we get it and people bounce around like its gonna burn them if it touches them. Like its rain. I dont wanna get all holy rolling on you Joe , but its natures bounty. Without it , we would starve. I remember him saying that as I sit here typing it , with my muscle shirt soaked through and clinging to me. My shoes are sopping wet as they make squishy noises as I press my feet on the floor . Yes. Rain is wet but refreshingly so
