Seek Daily Monday, November 25 A COVENANT WITH DAVID Psalm 89:1-7 You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David my servant ….”Psalms 89:3, NIV A lady and a young man made a covenant with each other to get married using blood as a seal for the covenant. Not too long after, lady began to see the need to break away. But it was not that easy as she thought. Our God is a covenant keeping God. His covenant with David was to establish his descendants on the throne forever. The culmination of this covenant resulted into the birth of Jesus Christ whose lineage is traceable to David. As God had a covenant with David, so He has with all His children. His covenants of good health, success, victory and so on are all for your enjoyment as long as you allow Him to be your God through Jesus Christ. Are you in God’s covenant or a wrong covenant relationship? You can break the wrong covenant now by the blood of Jesus and enter in the covenant that guarantees you not to disappoint God, your parents and yourself.
