Seek God’s face by Apostle Paul Johnson Asamoah Some people go to church because they need healing and not to seek the face of God but breakthrough after their breakthrough, there is for far gap between them and God. From today, God is going to take us into our perspective way of life. 1 Samuel 13:13-14 “you acted foolishly because you sought not the directions or His ways”. That is why people who thought they are seeking the face of God but not seeking the face will enter into troubles. The bible says in Matthew 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom and it’s righteousness and all other things shall be added upon you. The one who can let us endure to the end is God and nobody us. But if we do not seek the face of God we will become drop us. Because with God all things are possible. Man’s bus-stop is God that is why humans have to put all their trust into God and not in man. For example, if you are not in man. For example if you are going to work and you do not get to the bus-stop you can never reach your destination. In the same way, in Christ there is God’s stop. That is where you go to take a rest and refresh yourself. God said to Saul you have the time but using it foolishly. Romans 12:1-2 says I beseech you therefore, lead a life holiness that will show a reasonable service that is holy unto God. Reasonable service means going to church early, engaging yourself into church service. Sacrifice endures us into God’s kingdom. Human beings sometimes say in their heart, I am not for you God. Nevertheless should we serve the Lord the normal way we use to do. In life, we must be enhance so that people will appreciate the workings I blessings of God. God has given each and every human being a work to do, if you do not put in an effort the Lord will snatch the work from you. That is why God said to Saul but now your kingdom will never exist. As human beings we must keep the commandments of God otherwise we will lose our kingdom. Some people do not seek the face of God but rather seek the hands of God. Jeremiah 29:13 says you will seek me find me when seek me with all your heart. 2 chronicles 10:14 says when will seek the face of God you seek His heart and mind. God after His own heart. This was so because David put all His life down for the work of God. What are some of the things that qualify you at the bus stop of God? 1. Sacrifice, patience, obedience, trustworthy, humbleness, holiness, faith, taking into Christ character, the image of Christ, Endurance imitating Christ’s image. 2. Charisma without character makes its difficult for us to see God. If human beings are to understand God, they will rush in with speed to serve Him with dignity (respect). In Luke 1, there was a man who said he wanted to see Jesus and it came to pass. There is time for everything. This year must affect the way human beings serve God. They must pour their heart unto God, and their problems will be solved. 2 chronicles 7:14 says if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from wicked ways… Human beings become graduated in whatever they do for a very long time. Humble means holiness. Holiness can break us into pieces and rebuilt our human nature again. The bible says David broke his heart and pour all his heart unto God. This year, God is calling us into His inner room to become His room mate. Psalms 108:1. We must be ready to set aside everything for God. It is our time to succeed and must avoid enjoying earthly things but rather heavenly things. James 1”17, Proverbs 10:22. Heaven is inside you so therefore we must enjoy the promises of God. We seek the face of God, we have the rest of God befallen unto us. Exodus 33:11, Joshua 10. From today, we must be crazy in the service of God and also be crazy for the Lord. We must grow in the things of God so that we can seek His face Luke 14:33 Matthew 19:27, Revelation 3:21 we must love God more that everything be broken unto God. Eph 4:1-16 Romans 8:5-14, Ps 27:8, Isaiah 59:1-2, Ps 105:4, 1 chronicles 16:11. When we seek the face of God always, we get closer to God.
