Seek out That noise again. Maybe it was our neighbor’s cat, I thought as I climbed up the stairs to check for the cause of the sound. I wish I have someone else here to check it for me, but everyone in the house left. I sighed. There were three bedrooms, “Which of these the noise was coming from?” I asked myself. I opened each room and checked every place, “Where is that cat!” I hissed in annoyance. Unfortunately, I found no sign of a wandering animal. The noise was getting louder and louder. How can I be so dumb? It was too loud but I can’t figure out where it was coming from! I went down the stairs and suddenly my attention was drawn by the small cabinet near the kitchen. I’m pretty sure I heard it creaked. I was about to open it when suddenly, I heard a giggling laugh. I paused and hesitated. But it was too late; my hand was already grabbing the handlebar. I pulled it open. I was surprised, I saw a young boy who was facing the edge of the cabinet. He was holding what seems to be a…teddy bear? How did he get in here? “Hey. How did you get in here?” I asked as I touched his shoulder. Unexpectedly, he faced me and screamed. I was filled with terror as he looked at me, my hands went cold. His dead hollow eyes and dark empty mouth was fixed at me. My body almost froze as I took a step back. “You found me!” he screamed and jumped out the cabinet :)
