. Seek the good in others: Imagine if God never sought the good in us or if everyone assumed you were just evil? That wouldn’t be fair right? By seeking out the positives in a negative situation you can kept a positive attitude that can help you remain well positive. Be patient: Lots of times I still rush ahead, misjudge and don’t let the situation develop. When I take a step back and let God or a situation work itself out, it’s so much easier and causes me less stress. Seeing more of the picture gives me a better understanding of what’s going on, which helps me not complain. Count your blessing: In most situations we can only see the then and now, instead I like to look at the big picture. I’ll often ask: in the grand scheme of things, how important is this small situation and what has God done for me? Often the answer is that he’s done a heck of a lot and the situation is tiny in comparison to my life. Remember you’re working with God: God allows us to go through situations to make us better and he’s always there. By focusing on that one point I stay positive and out of complaining most of the time. Let it be: This kind of ties in with being patient, but I’ve found most times situations and the little things that annoy me will work themselves out if I don’t complain and let God work. Funny right?
