Seek ye first ... And all these things shall be.... many prosperity preaching churches ... Preach this day in and day out .. It gets used to motivate a tithe .. To give people a hope that they will be rich if they do good etc ... And it makes ME MAD ... God is not about giving you what you want or what you think you need ... Relationship with God ie: putting His Kingdom first and seeking His face ... Will allow fears .. Doubts .. Confusions and worries to disappear ... It will promote self control .. Honesty and patience .. Your perception of the world and what it tells you.... will change ... And sure people will employ that kinda person .. People will marry that kind of person ... Etc ... Let us not see God and our deeds as a checklist to riches ... Let us spend time in prayer .. Listening and speaking .. Let us be available to think differently .. Let us remember grace for the true heart ... God wont just change your circumstance because you demand it ... GET back to God !!!! Your circumstances will change .. If not your perception of a circumstance will ... God promises have certain conditions ... They require honesty ..... And true seeking of His face ... Everyone loves Jeremiah 29 vs 11 ...
