Seeking Allaahs protection against the enemies: Narrated `Abdullaah bin Abi `Aufa: Allaahs Messenger (ﷺ) said: ❝Do not long for meeting your enemy, and ask Allah for safety (from all sorts of evil).❞ [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree and Saheeh Muslim] •۩۞۩• Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq رضي الله عنه climbed the mimber (pulpit) and then wept and said: In the first year (of Hijra), the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم climbed the mimber and wept and said: ❝Ask Allaah for al-`Afwa (pardon) and al-`Aafiyah (well-being), for no one is granted, after certainty (i.e. Islaam), anything better than al-`Aafiyah (well-being).❞ [al-Tirmidhee (3558) and graded as “Hasan Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
