Seeking Female Volunteers for Ranger Course Assessment The Army G1 recently released ALARACT 222/2014 https://us.army.mil/suite/doc/43508687 seeking volunteers for The United States Army Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE) Ranger Course assessment. As part of the Army Soldier 2020 initiative to ensure the best-qualified Soldiers have the opportunity to serve in any position, MCOE will select female Soldiers to enroll in a Ranger Course assessment. While the final decision to execute this assessment will not be made until January 2015, the Army is seeking volunteers now for this initiative. If approved for execution, this Ranger Course assessment is expected to occur during the 3rd Quarter, FY 15. Graduates of the Ranger Course assessment, regardless of branch or gender, are awarded and are authorized to wear the Ranger Tab. Applications to attend the Ranger Course as a student are due to the U.S. Army Infantry School by 1 December 2014.
