Seeking Lab Technician for Steel Company in Perrysburg Ohio. Must have an associates degree in Lab Technologies, Quality or Metallurgy or be working towards a degree in those areas. Duties are as follows: Support the Quality Policy of company Maintain the safety and environmental policies Pull samples and test Mechanical Testing on Furnace samples Maintain sample log and furnace log Perform Daily verifications of hardness testing equipment throughout the plant. Understand the operation of lab equipment including hardness testers, MT 90, Satec, cut off saw, mounting and polishing equipment.
