Seeking advice on health insurance, specifically how to find - TopicsExpress

Seeking advice on health insurance, specifically how to find insurance that is insurance, and not HMO. So far Ive found a plan that will cost me twice what the fine would be if I opt out, has a high deductible, and doesnt cover the health care I use. Im hearing there are groups forming to provide health insurance the way it used to be (no HMOs involved, no third parties who define what I can or cannot have for care). Can any of you weigh in?
