Seeking an Environment, Safety & Health Director - BEEHS Our Client Company is leading provider of specialty services to North Americas energy markets. They are currently seeking an Environment, Safety & Health Director in Houston, TX. The salary is $135K–$160K, depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available. The EHS Director promotes and maintains a safe, healthy and incident-free work environment at all times by implementing established company procedures and other associated initiatives. He or she relies upon a thorough understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT and legal requirements, as well as general loss-control principles, relative to an industrial construction environment, to accomplish this objective. The EHS Director must travel to other offices and work sites about 60% of the time. Requirements: • Four-year college degree (preferred) • 5+ years of construction EHS-related experience and/or safety degree with field experience • Working knowledge of gas detection, monitoring equipment, confined space • Strong background in large turnaround/shutdown projects • Certification by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) as a Certified Safety Professional (strongly preferred) • Proven leadership abilities for driving a strong safety culture • Outstanding presentation skills • Valid driver’s license Competitive salary and a generous employee benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays and time off, and more.
