Seems all the issues that arose after the rescue effort have been sorted except for the Sunrise one, I await phone records as I write. Media are an interesting tool, but have never been about serving the truth to the community as a primary goal as many would certainly already realize. I never posted the Sunrise post expecting it to go viral, but on that note, I am not accepting of the lies they published, where a simply apology would have been a much better approach, so I maintain they owe NAN (Native Animal Network) a favor in respect to publicizing their great work, which is what the Sunrise cross over was to be all about, in the hope of raising support for those who do all the heartbreaking and hard work behind the scenes. On the day before the cross over everything had been arranged with them telling my wife and supporters at our Sanctuary they would be arriving early in the morning, they had all our phone numbers and when I spoke to them at around 6.00pm the day before the live cross, I confirmed everything was arranged, they asked for names of all the people, and I said I was busy saving animals and would be available around 7.30, and I was, we received no calls from them on any of our phones, here they stated they left messages, my phone has that turned of, and we continued to receive calls on all our phones, so they did not phone, and the producer confirmed that to me. If we have to jump into action in the future, I will refrain from working with the media, and stick to keeping you all informed through this page. Again I apologise to all those inconvenienced by Sunrises no show.
