Seems like I miss my grandparents more and more as each passing Christmas goes by. There is so much I miss about them and no matter how bad my day was you just knew they would always be there to pick you up or help you when you needed it most. Vern was one of the first famous people I ever knew and he introduced me to many who I have continued to be life long friends with for the most I keep that part of me off facebook out of respect for them but they are no different than any of my other friends and all are as equally important as the other. My close inner circle of normal friends have meet many of my famous friends and in my eyes they are all just my friends something I hold to a higher standard than of a celebrity status in my book and my friends know who they are and what I mean by all of my friends are equal to me no matter who they are anyway......... I remember when Vern wrote this song he said Shane I need to see if Mrs. Dorothy thinks my new song will be a hit We went over he pulled out his guitar and she came out on the porch and he sang it to her and when he was done she said Lord have mercy Vern thats a hit she was right and it was. Oh to go back and see my grandmothers eyes light up when Vern would give her a private concert and oh to hear Vern sing again! I know her eyes lit up just as his did when he joined her in Heaven! Randall Cox when I hear Vern I think of that time he was at the house after we meet and became friends and you and Kenny had funny expression on your face....... Oh the good old days of past!!!!!!! Well its nice to think about the special moments in my life and sorry for the day dreaming everyone........
