Seen it in my life also, and it just doesnt happen with poor people, it happens in any family and races...Once an abuser belittles you so much every damn day telling you your ugly, stupid and no one else would put up with you and your kid, you begin to believe it..and no one can understand until theyve lived it, I have no tolerance for this now..I was a lucky one and stood up for myself and gave myself alone time for soul searching..We need to help others realize they can do the same thing.
