Job Title: Construction Planning Engineer Location: Qatar Responsibilities: • Prepare Construction Plan in accordance with Constructability Check List and items advised by Area Superintendent. • Review scope of work during construction. • Evaluate P3 Level-4 schedule developed by subcontractor. • Evaluate Subcontractors workforce (manpower & equipment), against the available work front. • Monitor & evaluate Subcontractors progress accomplishment in order to make action plans, in case of delays. • Prepare Look-ahead schedule based on Subcontractors construction schedule approved by CM. • Prepare monthly and weekly report (highlights of the project, problems encountered, actual accomplishments, manpower and equipment at site, etc.) • Prepare recovery construction schedule if necessary. • Preparation of manpower histogram, quantity histogram and commodity curves. • Preparation of piping density checks to evaluate subcontractor piping duration. • Evaluate and monitor Equipment ETA. • Monitor subcontractors productivity against standard work rate. • Responsible for all the services required by the Construction Management (Man-hours analysis, schedule analysis, evaluation of sub-contractors reports and etc.) Qualification: • 6+ years experience in working as planning engineer in the organization of H/O and/or F/O. Experience: • Establishing standard schedule, field site visits, analyzing scheduling implications, completing delay analysis and change order etc. Job Skill: • Knowledge and use of P3/P5 software, MS Excel and Word, Power point and other necessary software for construction planning.
