Select County Parks Open to the Public Boulder County, Colo. – Boulder County Parks and Open Space staff has determined that the following properties are safe and accessible and can open to the public. Twin Lakes (including area trails), Niwot Loop Trails (except Dry Creek trail), Lagerman Reservoir, and Legion Park are now open to the public. The Agricultural Heritage Center will is also open for regular hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. We will be opening additional parks next week as staff can assess conditions and do the work necessary to make them safe and/or accessible. Some places have minor damage that can easily be repaired. Other places will take months or years to repair. A few may not be possible to repair at all. And some are yet to be assessed because staff has been unable to get there. The Sheriff’s office has asked that we keep mountain properties closed in order to avoid drawing extra traffic to Peak-to-Peak Highway (Caribou and Mud Lake may open when road conditions improve). -BoulderCounty.org-
