Select What is G12? WHAT IS G12? This is a big question to answer because this Vision has reached all seven continents of the earth. Therefore, there has been so much church growth all over the world because the Lord has breathed life into the exponential multiplication of His Kingdom. This article will give a thorough explanation of all that God has been doing through the G12 Vision. G12 means The Government of Twelve. It is a strategy for evangelism and multiplication. This strategy is based on a believer’s love for Jesus and therefore a compassion for the souls. It was birth out of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20. The Vision is also about forming disciples after Jesus character. Jesus’ greatest desire is to see lives completely change through His Blood. He knows that the only way that lives are transformed is through the Power of the Cross. Prayer is one essential principle within the G12 Vision. Nothing happens without prayer. In order to be successful in this Vision, every individual believer must pray. Each person must labor in prayer for every soul that will be won. It is important to know that G12 is not a denomination. For this reason it has never express the desire of any one to leave their denomination. Instead, G12 supports denominations, other ministries and Outreaches. HOW DID G12 START The G12 Vision was birth in the heart of Pastor Cesar Castellanos, Senior Pastor of International Charismatic Mission Church (MCI) in Bogotá, Colombia. MCI is one of the largest churches in South America, with more than 200,000 members and more than 45,000 Cell Groups in the City of Bogotá. Pastor Cesar Castellanos has been pastoring for more than 25 years. During his first 10 years of ministry at MCI Pastor Cesar was not satisfied with the fruit of his ministry. He watched members come to church for a season, then leave through the back door. He was not able to retain the souls he had won. Pastor Cesar sought the Lord for help to close this backdoor. He desperately wanted to please the Lord by maintaining and discipling the lives of the families that he was winning. The Lord led him to Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho. Pastor Cesar has always considered Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho as his teacher and Pastor. When he visited Dr. Cho’s ministry in Korea, he was greatly impacted by Dr. Cho’s faith in God in the midst of great difficulties. In the face of those challenges, Dr. Cho built the biggest church in the world. Dr. Cho’s great faith inspired Pastor Cesar to use the same method of home cell groups at MCI. Later, God led Pastor Cesar to take Dr. Cho’s method to another level by establishing the G12 Vision. It is a very simple concept that God reveled to Pastor Cesar in His Word. Jesus dedicated Himself to train 12 disciples. MCI took the principle found in the Word and started to exponentially multiply in souls by 12. G12 USED FOR RESTORATION AND RECONCILIATION G12 Restores God’s Altar When the people of Israel fell into rebellion and idolatry Elijah challenged Baal’s prophets to show the power of their gods to the people. The deity that answered with fire was the true God. This is how the process of restoring the altar began. “And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob…Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord” (1 Kings 18:31,32). Baal’s attempt failed, while God’s fire fell on the sacrifice that Elijah prepared. As a result, the people of Israel returned to God. Today, many people feel disappointed and discouraged by the bad testimony of religious leaders. This discouragement has destroyed and left their altar of God in ruins. All over the world, God’s altar is ruined just as it was during the time of Elijah. There is a need for men and women to be full of God’s zeal. The Lord is looking for people who are dedicated to exercise the power of the Blood of Jesus to win souls. G12 Brings Reconciliation It is not by chance that the last book of the Old Testament ends with the explanation of Elijah’s ministry. It says, “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse” (Malachi 4:5-6). I am confident that now is the time. In these last days, God is going to pour out Elijah’s anointed mantle upon the earth. The anointing of Elijah will descend on many Christian leaders in the world and cause them to make family restoration a priority. God wants each leader to be His hands by bringing peace to the families that are on the brink of collapse because of the loss of spiritual values. G12 IS ABOUT FOLLOWING JESUS Jesus invested the majority of His time training His twelve disciples. He had limited contact with the multitudes and did not spend a lot of specific time discipling or teaching them. When He was with the people, Jesus would supply their needs, heal their sicknesses, deliver them from bondages, and minister to them. However, He did not spend time forming their character. It is easier to disciple twelve people than the thousands who heard the “Sermon on the Mount.” Jesus’ focus was to break religious patterns, change religious form, and reproduce His character in the lives of twelve men. Jesus never was conventional. He did not find his twelve at a theological school or a seminary. Jesus found them through prayer (Luke 6:11-12). You cannot use reasons such as sympathy, intellectual capabilities, oratory skills, natural abilities or talents to select your twelve. The Holy Spirit should speak to you and show you who has a faithful heart. In the same way that a sculptor shapes clay, Jesus took twelve men in His hands and began to form their character. Jesus spent three and a half years teaching, cleansing, and sharing eternal truths that would prepare them to completely depend on the Holy Spirit and live in the same manner that He did. Jesus’ twelve are part of the foundation of our Christian faith. The best example to a senior Pastor is the work that Jesus did in the lives of these men. He won them through prayer, consolidated them, discipled them, then sent them. G12 is Relationship Based Jesus spent most of His crucial time with His twelve. It is most important to meet once a week in small groups that spend focused time on strengthening relationships. When you meet, you should be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and put aside all other distractions and allow the Holy Spirit to strengthen and minister to the team. Jesus had a consistent and permanent relationship with His twelve that enabled him to discern when something was out of order. Having a consistent relationship with your disciples will allow you to know them intimately and will enable you to minister to them continually. All leaders take their disciples through a process of inner healing and deliverance where chains of religious patterns and demonic oppression are broken. A person who is not ministered to cannot minister to others. Choose People Who Are Fruitful Jesus spent all night in prayer before He chose His twelve. We should take His example and choose people that the Holy Spirit sanctions. Do not choose your twelve because you are a long-time friends. First, a leader should look at their fruit. The first step is starting a cell. The leaders that work the hardest and are faithful to open twelve other cells in a year are the ones qualified to be part of the twelve. Leadership should not be given to anyone because of sympathy, but because they have truly earned it. From the beginning, your goal should be to have a team of twelve who are the type of people that produce fruit, understand the Vision, and have begun to multiply. Everyone is a Soul Winner Jesus chose men who He was confident would follow His example of being a soul winner. A team of twelve should clearly understand how to evangelize and win souls. Each leader must be trained to be a soul winner. This is the goal of the Vision; that every believer becomes a leader. Sometimes a person has a natural ability to win souls. Other times a leader is challenged to minister to a disciple until evangelism becomes a part of their nature. Either way, every disciple of Christ must first individually conquer the challenge of making winning souls a lifestyle. Then when they become a part of the team of twelve they can contribute to the team’s effort of winning the multitudes. God will bless the team with strategies for planning evangelistic meetings and events that win great numbers of souls at one time. Work in Homogeneous Groups In the church there are different networks: Men, Women, Youth, and Children. In these networks the message is tailored to reach their specific needs. The goal is to motivate and strengthen each group to achieve their dreams. Each network is arranged in a specific manner. Men minister to men, women minister to women, youth minister to youth and there is a team formed to empower children to minister to children. We have made the decision to organize the children’s network by ages 5-7,8-10, and 11-13. This way we are able to specifically share an appropriate message for each age group. As the Pastor is strengthened, the twelve become an extension of his ministry. The twelve work in harmony as a team in the Vision by ministering to each person’s needs through building cells. Everyone has a place so there is not need to worry about competing for a position. This causes a relationship to of care, respect, and a special bond with each team member. OUR VISION The book of Matthew shows us an interesting and important perspective of Jesus’ ministry. “Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease” (Matthew 9:35-36; 10:1). Therefore, we have decided to fashion our lifestyles just as Jesus did. Jesus selected His twelve with the following four objectives: To Show Compassion “When Jesus saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd“ (Matthew 9:36). Jesus imparted compassion to His disciples by teaching them to care for the needs of the multitudes. He instructed them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat” (Matthew 14:16). Jesus led His twelve to show the same compassion that He had for the lost and lacking. Many people are full of problems, struggles, and are lost without knowing who to go to for help. The G12 Vision gives people personal attention and care. The Vision has specific principle methods that allow each person to receive personal pastoring. The first step of the Vision is for every person to receive Jesus Christ as Savior. Next, a leader will visit the new believer. Part of the purpose of the home visit is for a leader to understand a person’s needs and help them to overcome the situations and struggles they are facing through prayer. This G12 Vision is an expression of the compassion through leadership that God has for each individual. To Pastor the Multitudes When a congregation is larger than two hundred members, it becomes difficult for the congregation to have direct contact with the pastor. The only people that have the privilege of working with the Pastor and are actually discipled are those with titles and maybe a few other leaders. In the G12 Vision everyone is discipled through the groups of twelve. This way, each person has a personal relationship with their leader. Jesus’ example taught us that you can only effectively pastor twelve people at one time. Any more than that and the relationship between a leader and disciple cannot be as efficient. Many people do not prefer a large church because they feel lost in the crowd. When the G12 Vision methods are used correctly, the results will be a large congregation that maintains an intimate atmosphere through the teams of twelve. To Conquer the Enemy Jesus gave His authority to His twelve to cast out demons, heal the sick, and rebuke the works of darkness. The church needs training in healing the sick, deliverance, inner healing, and teaching the Word of God. The Bible declares that,“…signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:17-18). A church can reach incredible spiritual levels when it uses the authority God has given them over the adversary. The G12 Vision creates a powerful atmosphere for a church to use its authority in Christ. The Encounters are the perfect place to display the supernatural anointing of deliverance to break curses and bondages. To Teach What Jesus Taught The character of Christ is reproduced in the life of a new believer through the twelve. When this is done there are great results. When the Christ’s disciples were obedient to what He had taught them, “…it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). They did exactly what Jesus had commanded them to do in Matthew 28:19. He commanded them to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Jesus left the anointing of the Holy Spirit with the disciples. “And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’” (John 20:22). Jesus wanted to produce a demonstration that would have tangible results. He declared through Paul, “For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance…” (1 Thessalonians 1:5). Each disciple must be empowered through the Holy Spirit to be successful in building the team of twelve. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help accomplish the command of the Great Commission. With the Holy Spirit involved in the lives of each leader, failure is not an option. Jesus empowered his disciples with long-term success. When He prayed for His disciples He said, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word” (John 17:20). He was caring for those who He would leave to complete the work. He was thinking about the help that you would need to accomplish this great work or Winning Souls and Making Disciples. You are a powerful tool in God’s hands and He wants you to be prepared to reach people who He will send to you. HOW DOES THE G12 VISION WORK? The G12 Vision has 4 steps: Win, Consolidate, Disciple and Send. Together these steps form the Ladder of Success. WIN First, a leader must pray for the unbeliever and invite them to participate in a cell group. There are different strategies on how to win a person to the Lord. However, prayer is the emphasis in all strategies. Through prayer God causes a person to be affected by His Word. Then the new believer becomes part of a cell group and is prepared for an Encounter by attending Pre-Encounter classes. These classes must be attended in order for the new believer to have a true Encounter with Jesus. CONSOLIDATE The next step is focused on the new believers attending an Encounter. The Encounter is a 3-day retreat that separates the new believer from their daily life routine in order to meet God. The main purpose of the Encounter is for the new believer to receive the Revelation of the Cross. After the encounter they start to be true disciple. DISICPLE The Encounter causes them to fall so deeply in love with Jesus that they have a burning desire to serve Him by becoming involved in the Vision. Immediately after the Encounter the new disciple attends Post Encounter. The purpose of Post Encounter is to reaffirm their new life in Christ and to empower them with victory as new Christians. When the new believer goes through an Encounter their lives are drastically transformed. However, the environments that they return to are still the same. They need tools that will help them to build a relationship with the Holy Spirit, overcome temptation, maintain their deliverance and continue to grow in Christ. Post Encounter is the way this is accomplished. This prepares them to be trained to become a leader. The School of Leaders is the next step in the Vision. In Exodus 18:17-20, Moses’ father-in-law instructed Moses to be responsible to the teach the the twelve tribes of Israel, “the way to walk and the work they should do.” School of Leaders does just that. It is three levels of doctrine and seminars that empower the new disciples to be fully successful in the work of the Kingdom. SEND The goal of the G12 Vision is that each believer becomes a leader. During a period of12 months, the new disciple goes from being an ordinary person to a leader of twelve. Each leader is sent back into the culture to Win Souls and Make Disciples. When this is done by correctly applying the entire G12 Vision, whole cities will be transformed. Choosing the Twelve In the beginning, everyone in the church is in a cell. As each member goes through the steps of The Ladder of Success, they can become part of a team of twelve. All cells meet once per week. Each person’s goal is to take their cell group and transform it into a team of twelve leaders. The cell is an open group where anyone can come. As leaders are formed, the cell leader begins to have a separate meeting. Only twelve leaders can become a part of this group. The G12 meets once per week and focuses on mentoring and ministering to each leader. G12 Meetings Are a Learning Center For three and a half years Jesus met daily with His twelve to impart into their lives and teach them new things. It is very important that each leader meet with the team at least once a week. In the G12 meeting, the leader should share practical teachings that will encourage and strengthen them. Sharing with the twelve each week creates a personal mentoring relationship. As a leader, your responsibility is to have a rhema word for your group and facilitate friendships that are based upon accomplishing the purpose of God together. 12 Advantages of a G12 Meeting 1. Each leader follows the vision of the Pastor by making disciples. 2. Each leader motivates his disciples to grow and truly work for God. 3. Everyone is motivated when the Vision is correctly implemented. 4. It allows everyone to work in the ministry. 5. It gives the leader an opportunity to share goals with the team. 6. It fulfills the purpose of God. 7. The leader trains the disciples to minister to their disciples. 8. Friendships are formed. 9. It allows everyone to understand and speak the same language. 10. The leader works hard to see his disciples become successful. 11. It strengthens the ministry and unifies vision of the church. 12. It creates an atmosphere that encourages growth based on hard work and trust in each other. G12 groups help to: Strengthen the unity of the church. Strengthen the vision of the church. Establish a working and honest relationship with each team member. Create an atmosphere that encourages growth. Strengthen ministries within the church. A LADDER TOWARDS SUCCESS! The Process of the Vision The application of the Vision’s principles allows specific results to be obtained. The Lord has led us to create a process that guarantees positive results to all who are willing to dedicate their lives to working with cells. This process is called, “The Ladder of Success.” There are four steps that will go in an ascending form that each new believer will climb in order to become a leader and also to become another qualified agent of multiplication to expand the Vision with the message of Christ. Each step is dependant on the one before. The four steps are: Win, Consolidate, Disciple, and Send. WIN “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-19). Evangelism is the first step of the Ladder of Success. It consists of winning souls to the best of a believer’s personal ability. It is when we take advantage of every opportunity to establish direct contact with the lives that are being won for Christ. Some will be won in massive numbers such as in congregational meetings through altar calls. Winning is what begins to guarantee success in the Vision. If there is no evangelism, then there will not be people to meet in the cells. The Lord had the salvation of souls on his heart. Winning souls is an art that combines God’s Time, divine anointing, and sensibility to the Holy Spirit to move in the supernatural dimension. Lord Jesus said, that there is eternal life, but he emphasized in John 17:3 that, "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." The work of winning the lost is also a commandment that every believer in Christ must fulfill. It is the fulfillment of the great commission that He gave His disciples before He ascended to heaven. Winning in the Cell Cells are small groups of people that meet a minimum of once a week. They are motivated by the development of internal growth based on the Word of God. Each Cell has an agenda of small teachings that are simple and practical. This way each member and new convert will be edified every week.. When the early church started great growth the principle of cells was born. We find this in Acts where it says, “So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly” “You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house, declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus” (Acts 6:7; 20:20,21). When speaking of the cell we refer to one of the smallest microorganisms that exists in any form of matter. In the case of church cells, the interesting thing is that although they begin small, they can multiply easily. When Pastor Caesar Castellanos began the Vision he used the strategy to set the original pattern with eight people. It is important that the first cell makes the trail for the rest of the cells to follow because it will mark the behavior of the following cells. Where are the 12 found? The cell is an efficient way to form and select the team of twelve. A leader chooses from the people that gather weekly in a house or office. Members of the team should be selected as they become successful at bearing fruit and forming the cells that will support the ministry (Luke 6:12-17). Jesus won twelve men in which he reproduced His character and who would be His representatives to the entire world. He transmitted the Vision to the twelve so that at the same time they would transmit it to their twelve. This way, exponential multiplication is achieved. The Prayer of 3 Why did Satan inspire a plan for Daniel’s enemies that prevented him to pray for a month? (Daniel 6:7). The answer is, that it would bring spiritual death to the prophet. Just as not praying brings death; praying for thirty days with perseverance releases life. When we commit to pray for a month for people that are not yet believers, the Spirit of God will extend His mercy and life will be given to them. The leader with the desire to have a cell group, gathers two other people that will pray with him. Each one of them, in prayer, selects another three unbelievers. Everyday, for thirty day, they will pray for the nine people. Also, once a week the three will meet for an hour to pray specifically for the conversion of the nine people. After the thirty days of prayer, a contact is made to each of the nine people that have been prayed for to show interest for their welfare. This contact is also to share with them God’s love for their lives, by presenting to them the "Four Precious Opportunities". Here are the “Four Precious Opportunities The opportunity of an encounter (Jeremiah 29:13) The opportunity of reconciliation (Luke 15: 18-20) The opportunity of restoration (Romans 5:8; Luke 15:24) The opportunity to bear fruit (John 15:8) Lastly, they are invited to visit the cell and/or the church. This invitation should be done with confidence because there has been a month of prayer for the unbeliever. CONSOLIDATION Consolidation is The careful attention that we give the new believer in order to reproduce in him the character of Christ, so that his life will complete the purpose of God by bearing fruit that last. It is an efficient process to form disciples. It is the step where the new believer reaffirms his personal decision to Jesus. This is achieved through the care he is given from the very moment of conversion. When does the consolidation begin? The Process of consolidation has begun when the new believer makes a decision to follow Christ. This is a process that was present in the early church. “Strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22). Consolidation can also begin when the person makes his confession of faith at the altar in church. The contact information is collected. Then, a time of intercession is made on behalf of the new believer. After receiving the contact information, the process of consolidation starts. The leader must contact a new believer immediately! The new believer must feel important. The leader’s love and interest will show him how valuable his life is. Consolidation Cards The cards that are collected at the altar are distributed to the Consolidation team. The new believer should be placed in a cell that is closer to where he lives. Never treat the cards passively. They represent souls that need special care. Phone Visit A Phone Visit is a phone call that is made within the first 24-48 hours after a person has made the decision to follow Christ. The purpose of this call is to reassure him that the Church is praying for him, and to schedule a Home Visit that week. Home Visit Bring a word of ministry according to the need that the new believer shared the day of his conversion. Visiting a home brings the presence of Christ to that family. Therefore, it has the same value as if Jesus was making he visit himself. The purpose of the visit is to place the person in a cell and to motivate him to participate in an Encounter. Pre-Encounter A new believer should attend the Pre-Encounter class so that they are prepared for the three-day Encounter. The Pre-Encounter will help the person receive the full benefits of an Encounter. What is an Encounter? It is a three-day spiritual retreat where a new believer can first experience a confrontation with Jesus. The new believer comes face to face with God, with His Word, with himself and with his past. There he will obtain the grace of God to completely remove sin from his life. Also, he will be able to reflect daily and be able to move forward in faith to conquer a better future. Objectives of an Encounter: • Be completely sure of their salvation • Experience genuine repentance • Break bondages that bind them to their past • Receive inner healing in their heart • Receive and experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit in their lives • Clearly understand the Vision DISCIPLE The Vision is so effective that every person that has had a personal encounter with Jesus goes through a process of character formation. What did Jesus do? Just as a potter takes clay to mold dust something beautiful and useful, Jesus molded the lives of twelve men. He formed the lives of twelve disciples through His teachings, His words, His life, and His example. The disciples came to know Him as “Teacher,” because He would instruct, direct, and shape their lives. Jesus said, “You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am” (John 13:13). God made man and breathed life into him. Jesus also molded the lives of His twelve, gathered them, breathed on them. Before ascending to heaven Jesus, “said to them, “receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:22). The process of making disciples consists of preparing cell leaders in an efficient way so that they cultivate the ability of winning souls for Christ, continuing the process of the Vision with new believers until they become successful leaders. The process of making disciples takes place in the G12 Training School. What is the G12 Training School? The G12 Training School is comprised of three different schools: School of Leaders, School of Ministry and School of Teachers. It is a program of simple teachings that asks practical questions, and motivates each student to become self-motivated. The training is held in classrooms. These programs form disciples when they become new believers. Who can participate? Those who have participated in an Encounter and have received the ministry of Post-encounter can attend. Although we work with different networks (Men, Women, Youth, Children), the doctrine is the same in each of them. The messages are simply tailored for each homogenous group. Here’s how it works: • Post Encounter: After the Encounter a new believer is strengthened in the Post-Encounter. The growth of the Schools of Leaders depends on taking care of the new believers at this level. • School of Leaders: One of the greater commitments of the Vision is "to make each believer into a leader" • School of Ministry: In this school, students learn deeper theological truths about working in the Vision. • School of Teachers: This is a vital pillar in the success of the Vision to prepare the future teachers of the schools. Post Encounter It is an open rotary course. This means that it is always receiving people who have participated in an encounter. The objective of Post Encounter is to help a new believer to become acclimated to his new life in Christ. A new believer returning from an Encounter needs to learn how to fight against Satan’s attacks. They also need to know how to relate to the world, friends, confront problems and overcome temptation. A new person needs to learn how to flee the desires of the flesh, sin, the world, and Satan. Post Encounter is where they are introduced to how to have a new successful life in Christ. SCHOOL OF LEADERS The School of Leaders is an important step in the Vision because its main goal is to make a disciple of each person. The material in this class is important for anyone who wants to “go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). The duration of School of Leaders is completed in three levels with ten classes for each level. Every class has two sections: Doctrine (one hour) and Seminar (one hour). SCHOOL OF MINISTRY While the School of Leaders serves to motivate students to exercise leadership in their cell groups, the School of Ministry plays the role of helping the leader to correctly carry out the G12 Vision within the cell group. We can say that the School of Leaders instructs the students on what to do and the School of Ministry instructs the leaders on how to do it. It also consists of three levels with ten classes in each level. Each level has two sections: Doctrine and Seminar. THE MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER God’s desire is to redeem the institute of marriage and family. Through the Marriage Encounters families are transformed and restored to God’s original plan. This particular Encounter gives hope to people who have been deceived and hurt. This Encounter revives a couple’s love for each other and will guide them in the how to raise their children in God’s ways. SEND The goal of a disciple is to open his own cell. Within one year that cell should become a group of twelve leaders. This is done throughout the months where the people are in School of Leaders. The objective is that in a year, twelve people will be members of a G12. This is the anointing of multiplication. When a church is simply adding the growth is slow. However, when it multiplies, through each cell member having twelve leaders, that has a truly powerful impact on a city. It is a continuous cycle where all who receive Christ are trained to train others. We achieve turning believers into leaders when we involve them in a process of spiritual formation and form the character of Christ in them. This way, they can be a faithful reflection of Jesus. The Great Commission indicates that we should "go and make disciples... teaching them to guard all the things that Jesus has taught us" (Matthew 28:20). As each leader is formed, they are also prepared to be sent back into the culture to establish the Kingdom of God in one person, and one family at a time. They use what they have learned from their cell leaders and teachers to Win Souls and Make Disciples. Then, they take their new converts through the same process that they have completed. This way they are successful in their life in Christ, as they become an exponentially powerful disciple of Jesus Christ.
