Selection List of M.Ed (Distance) Admission 2014 The cut-off merit for admission to M.Ed cource, Batch 2014 on the basis of merit in entrance test and qualiffing examination is as under: - - • OM = 63.11 • SC/ST = 46.49 • RBA = 59.78 • WUP = 59.51 • CDP = 56.26 • SPTS = 38.67 • NCC = 50.64 • PHC = 51.16 • CGB = 34.19 • OSJ = 53.41 • SN = 47.51 The candidates are advised to go through below mentioned instructions carefully before submitting the admission form. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. The link for admission form of M.Ed course Batch 2014 will be available on the official website of Kashmir University Directorate of Distance Education w.e.f. 15th July, 2014 onwards. 2. The selected candidate shall download the form by entering his/her application form number. 3. For the selected candidates, pre-filled-admission-form will be auto-generated. 4. The candidates will deposit (Rs.15,000/- as admission fee) in any finnacle branch of J & K Bank on the auto generated pre-filled-form against the account number 0007010100002622 payabale at J&K Bank Branch Hazratbal Srinagar. * Two Copies of Latest Passport size Photograph * Marks Certificate of qualifying examination (B.Ed) * Permanent Residence Certificate (if any) * Category certificate in original (lf any) along with three attested photocopies * Affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate to the effect that the candidate is not on rolls of any other department/institution. * Migration certificate (original) along with all relevant documents (if applicable). The candidates are advised to submit their admission forms at their respective divisions reflected as under: • For Kashmir Division: DDE, Kashmir University • For Jammu Division: Study-Cum- Information Centre, DDE, University of Kashmir 172-A/D Gandhi Nagar Jammu-180004. Migration certificate to be submitted in original, if applicable. 7. Candidates who have passed their qualifing examination from other universities shall submit the registration-cum-eligibility-form along with the pre-filled-admission-form, which is also available on the university website. Candidate shall prepare a separate demand draft for Rs.605/- as Registration-Cum-Eligibility fee favouring Registrar University of Kashmir payable at J&K Bank, Hazratbal. 8. Those candidates who have migrated to any other university from the University of Kashmir shall submit the registration revival- form (migration certificate to be enclosed in original) alongwith pre-filled admission form which can also be downloaded from the university website candidate shall prepare a separate demand draft for Rs.405/- as Registration-Revival fee favouring Registrar University of Kashmir payable at J&K Bank, Hazratbal. 9. Candidate shall bring all original certificates with them for verification at the time of submission of admission form. 10. Candidates are advised to read the instructions regarding the submission of admission form which are uploaded on the website and select the optional paper as per his/her choice. Optional paper once opted cannot be changed later on in any case. 11. In supersession of this University notification of even number dated 16-09-2008, it is for the information of all concerned that the dual course scheme which was applicable for the students of Kashmir University have been suspended vide University Notification NO: F(Amed-statutes-Gen)Acad/KU, dated March 01, 2011. 12. Admission is given to eligible candidate on the face value of the relevant certificates, if, at any stage, it is found so or it comes in the notice of the University that a candidate has made false or incorrect statements or used fraudulent means for admission or does not fulfill the eligibility requirements, or due to oversight any mistake has occurred in filling the form, his/her admission shall be cancelled at any stage without assigning any reason thereof. 13. All admission granted are on provisional basis till the eligibility of the candidate to the respective course is determined by the Registration Section of the University of Kashmir. 14. All legal cases pertaining to any course of the DDE, University of Kashmir shall be limited to the Jurisdiction of District srinagar only. 15. If any candidate is having any problem while downloading the online from or any other problem he/she may come directly to Enquiry Cell of the DDE. 16.
