Self Reflection : March 2014 The Filmcraft show is produced because I love films and I love Latin America and l believe in the work of my partners; Cinema Tropical and Film Movement. I also enjoy producing live interviews monthly at Mercado LA. This show was started because I could not find a radio vehicle that showcased Latin American films in the USA and so I became that vehicle. I produce Radio Hermandad because I want to work with Nativo in the deepest trenches of the movement. I want to understand where all the political bodies are buried and I want to support DRM Dream Action Coalition in our collective struggle for immigrant rights. I produce Ebony & Ivy (Racecraft) because it is crucial for this type of wisdom to be out in the world. I am lucky to be associated with the people on this show and the only way I would have been invited in was to do the inviting myself. I produce the Life & Music program with Wil Dog because it gives me the chance to work with Wil Dog and because I have a foolproof business model for this show. I am waiting like a panting dog for the moment when I can launch the show without irritating my partners. In a perfect world, this show would be so successful monetarily that it would subsidize the other three shows in addition to my lifestyle and some vanity projects. This show, osea, an original street level radio production, would put me at the center of the community banking orbit and allow me to test my theories about social banking. I am forty years old. I am ready to risk getting run over by the money bus. Interestingly enough, I would not take that risk with 3/4 shows that I produce. Just the Life & Music show with Wil Dog. I need to reach out to the universe and let the great moneymaker in the clouds know that I am ready to get hit by the money bus. If I got hit by a fast money bus, I would move around with my gal to the following places for the next 3 years: 1. Near the Papaloapan River in Veracruz from December to February. 2. Near the Smith River in Oregon from March to May. 3. Near the waves in Hawaii from June to August. 4. Near the Mad River in Vermont from September to November. Then, in three years, Ill settle for two years in Washington DC so that I can get a Masters in Foreign Service from Georgetown and my gal could get a Masters in Psychology and cook us up a daughter named Cocoa del Ángel or a son named Sequoia del Ángel. Then, at the age of 46, Ill get my first post as Ambassador in a Latin American country. Ill work for 20 years as a Diplomat and at the age of 66, Laura and I will semi-retire to a tiny hemp brick home in Mineral el Chico, Hidalgo, México. Thirty four years later, in November of 2073, at the age of 100, Ill walk out into an electric rainstorm in Hidalgo and get struck by lightning in my kundalini nerve. For seven seconds, Ill become clairvoyant and then Ill ride the lightning to the great Taqueria in the sky. The End.
