Self-esteem refers to how we accept ourselves and the value and worth we place on ourselves. Self-efficacy refers to the measure of a persons belief in their ability to complete tasks. Self-respect refers to pride and confidence in oneself; a feeling that one is behaving with honour and dignity. Look at what best describes you: -Compassionate -Honest -Always/usually in doubt of your capabilities -Usually happy -Quiet or afraid to express yourself in a room of people -Confident -Dont like your looks -Not easily defeated -Helpful to others -Putting yourself down constantly -Able to accept and learn from mistakes -Value other peoples opinions more than your own -Easily swayed by the crowd -Not afraid to stand out The above are both negative and positive shape your self-esteem. On a day to day basis replace all the negatives with positives.
