Self pity is a slimy bottomless pit. Once u fall in u tend to go deeper and deeper into the hire. As u slide down those slippery walls u are well on ur way to depression and there the dark ness is profound. Ur only hope is to look up and see the light of my presence shining down on u. Though the light looks dim from ur prospective deep in that pit those rays of hope can reach u at any depth. While u focus on me and trust you rise up ever so slowley out of the depair. You rise ever so slowly out of the abyss of despair. Finally u can reach up and take my hand. I will pull u intoo the light again. I will gently cleanse u washing off the clinging mire. I will clothe u righteusness and walk with u down the path of life.
