Self-promotion and marketing is extremely difficult when you have chronically low self-esteem and arent sure you should even be trying, lest your highly personal artwork be rejected. Thus I am so grateful to all of you who have encouraged my personal and artistic growth over the past few years. Two years ago I never would have thought myself good enough to paint people professionally. Even a year ago, when I was doing it, I was still unable to contact people in order to get booked, terrified of the jeering response I might receive. I feel transformed from a bitter recluse to an artist with a budding career. And I never could have gotten that far without you guys. Thanks
