Selinsgrove Speedway will present the most prestigious late model racing event in the track’s 68-year history when the World of Outlaws Late Model Series (WoO LMS) nationally-touring stars take on the local drivers in the 15th annual Late Model National Open Saturday, Aug. 31, and Sunday, Sept. 1. More than $75,000 in prize money has been posted for the two-day Late Model National Open weekend. The winner of Saturday night’s 40-lap “Showdown on Sandhill” preliminary feature will collect $8,000, with the victor of Sunday night’s 50-lap National Open finale earning $10,000.
