Additional Information. Renovatio has been Marina berthed from new. She has been with her current owner since 2004. She is a modern family yacht with teak cockpit and a host of extras. Fitted out for extended long distance Luxury cursing. She has many features you would expect to see on a much bigger boat. Although called the Bavaria 32, the yacht is actually almost 34 feet in length. Renovatio can sleep up to 7 people with the additional double berth taking full advantage of the 11 foot wide beam in the saloon. The fore-peek double berth has been insulated under the berth and fitted with triple layer foam mattress for extra comfort in 2012. The heads have been fitted with a shower and pump making the heads a wet room. The engine was removed and the drive leg bellows were replaced in 2012. Leg bearings were changed as a precautionary measure. Hatches and seals replaced. 2012. Saloon windows and seals replaced in 2014. The engine is fully serviced and the exhaust elbow, raw water pump and muffler were renewed in 2012. Fitted with a Burnton self-pitching/folding propeller in 2011, Renovatio can achieve good speeds both under sail and power. With a clean bottom she will achieve 6.5 knts at 2800 rpm and 7 knts at 3200 rpm. The rudder bearings were replaced in 2013. Her duration has been much extended with the better economy the prop has provided. She is particularly fast downwind using her large chute, taking advantage of her fully battened main and shallow draft keel. But can still point well on a beat. A host of electronic goodies make long passages easy. The Radar, auto pilot and AIS also improve the boats capabilities in poor weather. The boat has been well maintained and looked after. Renovatio has been heated through the winter and a dehumidifier runs on board from Oct to March. Viewing by appointment at Port Solent.
